Join EDL Building Solutions as a Journeyman HVAC / R Service Technician and bring your expertise to a team that values quality work, client satisfaction, and dependable tradespeople. In this role, you’ll work on a range of commercial and residential projects, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC / R systems with a focus on professionalism and precision.

What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC / R systems in commercial and residential settings.
Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls with accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate with clients to explain issues and provide clear solutions.
Complete all job documentation, including diagnostics, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
Collaborate with fellow technicians, apprentices, and other departments to ensure smooth job execution.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure installations and repairs meet code.
Represent EDL in a professional manner at all times.
What You Bring
Journeyperson certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program.
Experience in HVAC / R service—commercial background preferred.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC / R components, and maintenance best practices.
Familiarity with iOS / Android systems for job management tools.
Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and complete documentation accurately.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work on out-of-town assignments as needed.
Working Conditions
Field-based role with exposure to heat, cold, and noisy environments.
May involve physical work including climbing, kneeling, reaching, or lifting.
Work performed inside mechanical rooms, rooftops, or customer sites.
Must be available for out-of-town work as required.
