Senior Flagperson/Trainer

• Instruct how to direct and control the flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the worksite.
• Provide detailed instructions on how to monitor and respond to changing traffic conditions to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
• Assist with set up, maintain, and adjust traffic control devices such as signs, cones, and barriers.
• Communicate effectively with students and provide clear instructions and information in accordance with provincial laws.
• Maintain detailed records of traffic incidents and control measures.
• Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and company policies.

• Successful completion of “Train the Trainer Course”.
• Completion of Alberta flagging certification is required.
• Previous experience in traffic control or flagging operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable standing, walking and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have steel toe boots in good repair, hi vis vest, hi vis hard hat, safety glasses.
