Financial Planning Analyst
Position Title : Financial Planning Systems AnalystStatus : Full-Time, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Location : Saint-Laurent, QCOverview of RoleUnder the supervision of the Manager Financial Planning Systems, this role will support the automation of processes and reports, while ensuring integrity of financial data in the local and global planning systems.Responsibilities
- Automate / optimize various existing reports and / or processes involving different financial systems, using excel macros, power query, power automate tools or similar
- Build new ad-hoc reports as required
- Develop documentation and train users on the new functionalities
- Identify opportunities for automation
- Support the Manager Financial Planning Systems with other routine tasks, such as reconciliations, data entry, updating reports, etc.
- Ensure the integrity of data and the accuracy of information
- Make sure financial policies are observed
Requirements and Assets
- Strong Bilingualism (Fr / Eng), required
- Previous experience in process automation and / or programming, required
- Good understanding of information flow within different systems
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables and macros)
- Strong knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI (DAX language)
- Knowledge of SAP, an asset
- Accounting knowledge, an asset
- Sets high personal standards of performance
- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadline requirements
