MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager in Edmonton, AB. Our client is a leading developer known for transforming land into integrated spaces where business, retail, and community life converge!
Responsibilities
- Report to senior leadership, providing mentorship and guidance to in-house construction teams, including Project Managers, Coordinators, and field staff
- Oversee all phases of mixed-use commercial and residential projects, from initial design through to final turnover
- Coordinate and communicate directly with clients, consulting teams, and in-house land acquisition and development teams to ensure project alignment
- Develop, manage, and track project budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, and financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial goals and objectives
- Maintain quality control standards, assess and manage project risks, handle change requests, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Drive project schedules and execution through value engineering, contract oversight, resource planning, and strategic problem-solving
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Previous experience on mixed use projects with a major general contractor or developer.
- Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager or Director of Construction, ideally overseeing a team of construction professionals
- Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Post-secondary degree from college or university in technical area of study (engineering, architectural science, construction management etc.)
