UX/UI Designer

Dura Digital is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior UX / UI Designer to join our team. This role will be focused on creating solid end-to-end user experiences and bringing design and strategy to worldwide digital challenges.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience across the spectrum of UX and human centric design. This full-stack, well-rounded professional will be an integral part of our design team, collaborating with other designers, developers, and our clients, giving and receiving feedback at all project stages, and contributing to the overall growth and strategy of our human-centered design studio at Dura Digital.

Responsibilities

• Apply human-centered design principles and design thinking techniques to business problems, in order to provide and iterate on solutions that best address the needs of the client and the user.
• Help clients deliver exceptional user experiences through various UX deliverables, including but not limited to research, wire-framing and UI design, user testing, and prototyping.
• Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling digital experiences.
• Spearhead and manage content strategy in our projects, harnessing strategy, digital design, compelling content, and innovation.
• Prioritize work across creative projects, and work independently through sometimes ambiguous situations.
• Work within clients' teams as needed, participating in their ceremonies, and adapting to their ways of working.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines, including product, engineering, client stakeholders, and others.
• Understand and apply best practices for usability and accessibility to all deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with clients and team members across various time zones.
• Participate in design reviews, and gracefully give and receive feedback on solutions.
• Assist in creating roadmaps, as well as scoping and estimating related tasks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Facilitate user research and testing sessions, workshops, and client meetings.
• Be passionate about all things UX, and evangelize its benefits internally and externally.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years experience as a UXer or Product Designer.
• Strong creative vision with a deep understanding of business objectives, both internal and external.
• Proven experience working with remote, geographically diverse teams.
• Proven experience with concept development, user research, product analysis, interaction design and usability testing.
• Proficiency in modern design tools, such as Figma.
• Strong ability to ensure the final visual design is on-brand and delivers on strategic and business goals.
• High attention to detail, and an exceptional eye for design.
• Outstanding presentation skills and communication abilities. Whether the audience is internal or external to Dura Digital, you can sell an idea or concept clearly and confidently.
• Experience with web and mobile application design, responsive design.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in the Spanish language is a plus.
• An up to date portfolio with work samples.
