Our Edmonton based client is seeking a dynamic and execution‑focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. This is a high‑impact role within a Professional Services firm, offering the opportunity to lead financial operations across multiple international entities while supporting growth through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Lead global finance operations across multiple entities, countries and currencies
• Maintain a rolling Quality of Earnings (QoE) framework to support transparency and transaction readiness
• Manage debt financing, lender relationships, and capital structure optimization
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital, and capital allocation
• Direct and mentor a distributed finance team, including staff in different countries
• Support M&A activities including modeling, due diligence, integration, and synergy tracking
• Collaborate with private equity sponsors and the Board on strategic reporting and performance metrics
• Prepare timely and accurate management reports, dashboards, and investor materials
• Provide financial insights to support cross‑functional decision‑making
• Travel occasionally to global offices and work across international time zones

Your strengths include:

• CPA or equivalent designation, with an advanced degree in finance or business
• 8-15 years of progressive finance experience, including CFO or VP Finance roles
• Strong background in FP&A, accounting operations, and debt financing
• Experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑currency operations
• Exposure to private equity environments and M&A integration
• Transparent, collaborative, and execution‑oriented leadership style
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
