Profile : Our client is a manufacturer of passenger vehicles and is looking for a territory manager to manage a group of dealers in the US. This position requires up to 70% overnight travel. Your role will be to support them via training, selling, responding to RFPs and new product introduction. You are excellent at sales planning and organization, training and communication, including technical background with a hunter profile

Territory : Defined territory in the US

Workplace : Home office and on the road in territory.

Products / Services : Passenger vehicles

Salary : Base $85,000

Commissions / Bonus : $40,000

Car allowance : Reimbursed km

Expense’s reimbursement : All travel expenses reimbursed

Functions :

  • Focus on strategic plan and organize sales activities in accordance to budget and opportunities
  • Training of Dealer Regional Sales Team
  • Support dealers at trade shows, clients and with their day-to-day
  • Sales organization; sales activities at contractor level with dealers, trade shows, product presentations, sales meetings, plant tour, promotional orientation
  • Present our products to both end-users and dealers
  • Follow up on proposals
  • Produce activity reports and give feedback to VP
  • Requirements :

    Development vs Maintenance : 50% vs 50%

    Road vs Office : 70% vs 30%

    Languages : Excellent spoken and written English

    Education : Completed Bachelor's Degree (non-negotiable)

    Training : On the job training provided

    Overnight Travel : Up to 70% overnight travel to the US

    Years of experience : At least 3 years of successful b2b sales experience needed

    Other requirements : Must be able to travel to the US

    Transferable Knowledge :

  • Knowledge of the dealer network would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Office suite
