Position : Bilingual Senior Electrical Engineering Professional
Location : Montreal, Quebec
Pay : $60.32 - $83.33 / hr
Hours : Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM
Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will act as a technical lead and subject-matter expert in a client-facing role. Responsibilities include designing and developing electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations, and mentoring junior staff.
The role involves coordinating with local and remote teams, developing innovative designs, and conducting site inspections.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and review designs with minimal supervision.
Coordinate with design teams and other disciplines.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
Assist in project proposals and presentations.
Design various electrical systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, fire detection).
Mentor junior staff and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Use and improve digital tools for design and validation.
Perform site inspections and adhere to safety policies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Quebec; Members in Good Standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec preferred.
10-15 years of relevant experience in industrial or advanced technology sectors.
Experience with low and medium voltage electrical systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, or similar software.
Fluency in French is mandatory.
