At our Stratford Facility we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding metal forming saw cutting painting assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures sheet metal to heavy plate.

Position Summary :

The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform various tasks such as drilling milling and turning. This role requires a combination of technical skills precision and problem-solving abilities to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude experience in precision machining and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Maintain equipment by completing PMs and calling for repair if required
• Troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical and operational issues
• Prepare and load / set up the raw material weldments or castings in the machine
• Program / Run CNC code.
• Use of various equipment / tools to create and repair tooling including but not limited to grinders welding equipment machining equipment overhead cranes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Manufacture parts to print or technical drawings.

Must be flexible to work either shift depending on operational needs. Days 6 : 45 am -3 : 15 pm and afternoons 3 : 30 pm- 2 : 00 am.
