We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Site Supervisor to lead and oversee mechanical field operations on construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-quality mechanical installations while maintaining strict safety, quality, and performance standards.
The position is open to either a Site Supervisor 1 (SS1) or Site Supervisor 2 (SS2) , depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will provide on-site leadership, coordinate trades and subtrades, manage workflow, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Leadership
Lead and coordinate Journeypersons, Apprentices, and Subtrades on siteProvide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance support to crew membersDelegate responsibilities and manage daily site activitiesMaintain positive working relationships with internal teams, clients, and other tradesSafety & Compliance
Take full responsibility for site safety and compliance with Health & Safety legislationConduct hazard assessments, inspections, and safety meetingsEnsure adherence to company safety policies and proceduresProactively identify and address unsafe conditions or behaviorsProject Execution & Planning
Manage assigned projects with guidance (SS1) or independently (SS2)Coordinate workflows, materials, equipment, and manpowerTrack progress against weekly plans and budgetsForecast labor requirements and project activitiesLiaise with Project Managers and senior Site Supervisors as requiredAdministration & Reporting
Complete daily logs, timecards, inspections, incident reports, and site documentationPrepare material requisitions and coordinate with procurement and logisticsEnsure accurate and timely completion of all project-related documentationSupport audits, quality control measures, and reporting requirementsTechnical & Quality Oversight
Oversee mechanical construction work including plumbing, pipefitting, layout, trenching, coring, and related tasksEnsure work meets building codes, industry standards, and quality expectationsMonitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess materialsAddress and resolve complex site issues, escalating as neededPerformance Expectations
