JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will represent business to business sales & solutions support. In this role you will pursue multi-unit sales opportunities with existing customers and build new business opportunities by offering value-added wireless products and solutions to an organization’s communication needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Promote and Maintain Customer Relationships
- Determine needs and communicate benefits of product, services, features, rate plans, and special offers to existing and new customers as appropriate
- Prospect, cold call, and close business with new and existing accounts
- Develop on-going relationships with small, medium and Fortune 1000 companies within assigned territory
- Learn new product offerings and communicate effectively to prospective customers.
- Meet sales objectives and goals monthly
- Prepare complete, accurate, and timely paperwork to ensure efficient processing of customer transactions
- Represent Tridon’s values and business ethics

The Business Development Manager holds the authority to do the following :

The Business Development Manager will work in an office environment and must comply with the company dress code. Travel will be required, and site requirements must be adhered to when applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High School Diploma4 years of post-secondary education minimum requirementEXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is an assetKnowledge of products and services offered by Tridon CommunicationsMinimum of 10+ years of sales experience in the telecom / wireless industry, preferably within Two-Way Radio and / or Security Systems.SKILLS
Strong interpersonal, negotiating and closing abilities with excellent customer service skills.Computer literate and proficient in processing sales contacts and orders through an ERP / CRM system.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.High energy level, cheerful, positive attitude, competitive personality and driven to be successful.Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.Background checks are part of the hiring process which may also include a Motor Vehicle Check.Knowledge of products and services offered by Tridon CommunicationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Business Development Manager must be able to spend 60% travelling, 30% of the day sitting and / or standing, and 10% lifting boxes up to 30lbs. The incumbent will also be required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time.
