Overview

Your Opportunity : The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital is an acute care facility, located northeast of Edmonton, offering a range of acute and outpatient care including 24-hour emergency services. In this role, you will be a member of an integrated service delivery team providing care and treatment to clients in the Emergency Department, utilizing professional knowledge, clinical judgment, technical and interpersonal skills. Description

As an Orthopaedic Technician (Ortho Tech), you will apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints and traction equipment utilized in the care of orthopaedic patients (clients, residents). You will observe, monitor, report and document changes in the patient\'s physical, mental and emotional state, while providing safe and effective, quality care. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
