A fast-growing precision manufacturing organization specializing in CNC machining is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / PowerMill Programmer. The facility operates in a modern, engineering driven environment supported by advanced machining technology and a collaborative technical team.
Position Overview
The CNC Machinist / PowerMill Programmer will be responsible for programming and operating a large-frame bridge mill (Fanuc control, 90° head). The role involves machining small- and midsize plates, weldments, and castings, performing complete setups, and creating complex toolpaths in Autodesk PowerMill.
Key Responsibilities
- Program 3-axis and positional 5-axis toolpaths in Autodesk PowerMill.
- Set up and operate a bridge mill with Fanuc controller.
- Machine plates, weldments, and castings to precise tolerances.
- Develop fixturing and setup plans for multi-face machining.
- Select tooling and optimize feeds and speeds.
- Troubleshoot machining, setup, or programming issues.
