Fuse Consulting Ltd. is expanding our subcontractor roster and seeking talented Science Communicators for short-term, project-based contract work. Our core focus is on land conservation and land restoration, and we are looking for individuals with science communication experience and environmental expertise who excel at translating complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content for diverse audiences.

What we\'re looking for

We need true hybrid communicators who are professionals that have a scientific background and are comfortable both writing and designing science communication materials :

• Background or experience in environmental science, ecology, conservation, land management, or related fields
• Exceptional research, writing, and copyediting skills
• Proficiency in illustration and design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools)
• Ability to create sophisticated infographics, reports, briefing notes, and other science communication products
• Strong understanding of science communication principles and storytelling
• Flexibility to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
