Shipper/Receiver - Materials Coordinator

As a Material Handler Receiving, you will be responsible for the flow of incoming materials, raw materials, purchased components, and subcontracted components, receiving material in ERP system, verifying that incoming material matches what was ordered against the purchase order, labeling, stock checks, kitting materials required using BOM, inventory organization.

Pay Rate : starts at $19 per hour

Location : Courtney Park , Mississauga

Start Date : January 8th 2023

Title : Material Handler- Receiving

Shift : Mondays to Thursdays -7 : 00 am -4 : 00 pm and Fridays 7 : 00 am -1 : 00 pm

FULL-TIME

Must Be Tech Savvy , You will need to be able to Read numbers and Match them

Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS

Having your forklift is an asset

Having your G licence is an asset

Must know unit measurements

Must be able to match numbers to SKU

Responsibilities

Verify incoming material against purchase order, ensuring that quantity and description

match.

Receive items in the ERP system and printing project ID label, affixing, and placing

materials in stock, or kitting location.

• Perform hardware / stock checks against released BOM.
• Kit material, components, and hardware per project and cost center as per assembly

schedule.

• Identifying any nonconformities, or issues that will impact assemble scheduling.
• Any additional tasks as requested by Purchasing Manager / Operations Manager

Qualifications

• General knowledge of ERP / MRP systems
• 1+ Years of shipping / receiving experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Valid Class G driver’s license is an Asset
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• 1+ Years of manufacturing environment experience
• Forklift license is an Asset
