Alteo is looking for a Level 1&2 IT Technician for a permanent position based in Central Quebec (near Drummondville).

Your main responsibility will be to provide technical assistance to users and maintain IT infrastructures at two sites. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of equipment (workstations, servers, peripherals), network administration and IT security.

You will also be involved in software selection, installation and operation, as well as user training and support. Finally, you will be involved in the management of IT purchases and in certain specific projects, such as the management of mobile telephony and VoIP.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide first- and second-line technical support to users (hardware and software) at both sites.
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to workstations, software and networks.
  • Administer computer networks (switches and firewalls) and guarantee their security.
  • Manage hardware purchases and inventory (PCs, servers, printers, peripherals).
  • Manage software licenses and mobile telephony equipment (preparation, configuration, maintenance of agreements).
  • Participate in software selection, configuration and installation, while providing training to users.
  • Implement and manage an upgrade plan for operating systems and software (Windows, Office 365).
  • Contribute to the redesign and management of internal digital tools.

Profile :

  • DEC in IT, computer network management, or any equivalent training.
  • 3+ years' experience in IT support, network administration or systems management, ideally in a Windows environment.
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office 365 suite.
  • Experience with network equipment, including switches and firewalls (Unify).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Knowledge of workstation and server installation, configuration and maintenance processes.
  • Management of software licenses and vendor contracts.
  • Excellent ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Autonomy, initiative and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with users.
  • Good written and spoken French; English is an asset.

Alteo recherche un Technicien TI Niveau 1&2 pour un poste permanent basé au Centre du Québec (proche de Drummondville).

Votre responsabilité principale sera d'assurer l’assistance technique aux utilisateurs et à maintenir les infrastructures informatiques sur deux sites.

Vous serez responsable de la gestion quotidienne des équipements (postes de travail, serveurs, périphériques), de l'administration des réseaux et de la sécurité informatique.

Vous collaborerez également à la sélection, l'installation, et l'exploitation des logiciels, tout en veillant à la formation et au support des utilisateurs.

Enfin, vous serez impliqué dans la gestion des achats informatiques et dans certains projets spécifiques, tels que la gestion de la téléphonie mobile et VoIP.

Responsabilités :

  • Fournir une assistance technique de première et deuxième ligne aux utilisateurs (matériel et logiciel) sur les deux sites.
  • Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes techniques liés aux postes de travail, logiciels et réseaux.
  • Administrer les réseaux informatiques (Switchs et pare-feu) et garantir leur sécurité.
  • Gérer les achats et l'inventaire du matériel informatique (PC, serveurs, imprimantes, périphériques).
  • Assurer la gestion des licences logicielles et des équipements de téléphonie mobile (préparation, configuration, maintien des ententes).
  • Participer à la sélection, à la configuration et à l'installation des logiciels, tout en offrant des formations aux utilisateurs.
  • Mettre en place et gérer un plan de mise à jour pour les systèmes d’exploitation et logiciels (Windows, Office 365).
  • Contribuer à la refonte et à la gestion des outils numériques internes.

Profil :

  • DEC en TI, en gestion de réseaux informatiques, ou toute formation équivalente
  • 3+ années d’expérience en support informatique, administration réseau ou gestion de systèmes, idéalement dans un environnement Windows.
  • Bonne connaissance des systèmes d’exploitation Windows et de la suite Office 365.
  • Expérience avec les équipements réseau, notamment les interrupteurs et pare-feu (Unify).
  • Connaissance des bonnes pratiques en cybersécurité.
  • Connaissance des processus d'installation, de configuration et de maintenance des postes de travail et serveurs.
  • Gestion des licences logicielles et des contrats avec les fournisseurs.
  • Excellente capacité à diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes techniques.
  • Autonomie, sens de l’initiative et capacité à prioriser les tâches.
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe et à communiquer efficacement avec les utilisateurs.
  • Bonnes aptitudes en français écrit et parlé ; l’anglais est un atout.
