Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development : Construct and manage efficient data pipelines on GCP, tailored for scientific research and data analysis.
Data Exploration and Preparation : Analyze data to identify valuable features and prepare datasets for use in scientific research.
Collaborative Engineering : Work closely with other teams to understand data needs and contribute to the technical aspects of data projects.
Technical Problem-Solving : Apply your skills in Python and SQL to solve complex data-related problems and improve data processes.
Requirements
Based in Canada, with a strong educational background in computer science or a related field.
Proven experience in data engineering, particularly with Python, SQL, and data structures, with a preference for candidates who have worked with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Skills in data exploration : The ability to analyze datasets and select potential features for data science research is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, crucial for collaboration and documentation.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
