Location : Prince George, BC
Diversified Transportation is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Northern Health Connections operation in Prince George.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a key position that requires confidentiality, maturity, diplomacy and the ability to work with all levels of staff and the public.
This is a casual position covering holidays and sick days, with the possibility of more hours as per business needs. The successful candidate must have flexible availabili ty as shifts fall between 8 : 00 am and 5 : 00 pm.
Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transit servicing the business location.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Open availability required
- Exemplary customer service skills with previous experience in a customer facing / customer service position
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain composed, tactful, and professional in all communications
- Team-oriented with the ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Confident, pleasant and welcoming disposition
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Book travel and process ticket sales
- Answer phones / respond to client or passenger inquiries
- Assist drivers with inquiries or concerns
- Creation of memos and other written documents
- Filing of invoices
- Arrange hotel room bookings for drivers
- Restock and order supplies
- Data entry for fuel and other information
- Various other administrative duties as required
