Our client is looking to hire an experienced law clerk specializing in commercial real estate. The role is Monday–Friday (7.5-hour shifts, flexible start between 7–9 AM) with a 4-day workweek option available. The company offers 3 weeks vacation, fully covered medical / dental / vision (after 3 months), on-site gym, and free parking
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, review, and finalize retail and commercial lease agreements
- Ensure lease compliance and accurately document all terms and conditions
- Act as a point of contact between landlords, tenants, and legal teams
- Prepare and register Notices of Lease, Discharges, Estoppels, and Tenant Acknowledgements
- Conduct legal research and provide interpretations of lease agreements
- Maintain precise legal records and reports
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate law with a focus on retail leasingStrong background in lease negotiations and Canadian real estate lawProficiency in Teraview and lease registration proceduresExcellent drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills for lease agreementsMust pass criminal and credit background checksStrong communication and organizational skillsThis role is ideal for a detail-oriented law clerk seeking a fast-paced position in commercial real estate.
