Office Manager

Sussex Insurance (inside Walmart) located at 275 Green Ave W in Penticton is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Branch Manager. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in management and Auto Insurance with proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Management Responsibilities

• Exercise the authority of a manager including staffing, scheduling, performance management, training, one-on-one coaching, employee recognition, and development

• Ensure performance appraisals are completed and administered in a timely manner

• Take appropriate action when employee performance does not meet expectations

• Keep staff informed of branch manager updates and industry regulatory changes

• Provide ongoing coaching focused on identifying customer needs and strengthening customer relationships

Customer Service

• Set and manage expectations for exceptional customer service

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally

• Communicate Sussex’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in a positive and clear manner

• Focus on customer retention and long-term relationship building

Operations

• Direct, control, and/or delegate daily branch operations

• Oversee security procedures, audit controls, and end-of-day reporting

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Salary:

• $60,000–$80,000 annually
