18-month contract Observability Engineer role with a global enterprise organization working within their rapidly growing engineering team.
What & Why :
As a result of investment in technology our global enterprise organization is looking to add an Observability Engineer to their engineering team. This role focuses on overseeing technology monitoring and observability solutions across the organization. Supporting a Technology department of over 1,200 engineers, you'll work as part of an enablement team that collaborates with vendors like Datadog and Splunk to drive observability maturity, establish best practices, and provide training and onboarding support. The position requires hands-on technical expertise in instrumenting Datadog (APM, Infrastructure, Serverless, RUM) and Splunk, helping application teams migrate to modern observability solutions while working closely with internal stakeholders and vendor TAMs to resolve implementation issues, improve documentation, streamline processes, and empower end users across the enterprise.
