Job description
Pharmacist - Calgary - Full-Time, Permanent - Healthcare

Location: Calgary, AB

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule flexibility: Training would generally be supported on the 8:30am - 4:30pm shift and then once trained, this pharmacist would rotate with other team members to work either Monday-to-Friday 6am-2pm, 8:30am-4:30pm or 10:30am-6:30pm (schedule rotation will be determined equitably as a team). Compensation: Posted rate range is our (Randstad's) estimate only based on market norms in this region - the hiring team will always offer a rate commensurate with experience, aligned to market conditions and respectful of internal equity. Competitive hourly wage - open to discussion based on experience (training is provided)

Responsibilities
Pharmacist - Calgary - Full-Time, Permanent - Healthcare

Triage prescriptions and determine requirements

Coordinate workflow and assign tasks to technicians and assistants

Prepare and review documentation

Perform checks/verification

Communicate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers regarding prescriptions and patient history

Engage in desk-based and other tasks throughout the pharmacy

Other duties as required of a pharmacist in this setting

Qualifications
Pharmacist - Calgary - Full-Time, Permanent - Healthcare

Licensed Pharmacist in Alberta ((in good standing - injection certification is not required - this is a non-patient facing setting)

New grads awaiting licensure are welcome to apply (training provided)

Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
