THE OPPORTUNITY :

The Mechanical Assembler has excellent mechanical dexterity. This individual has the ability to perform assembly tasks that require refined fine motor skills and the ability to interpret assembly work instructions. You have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment and possess the basic qualifications outlined below.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assemble electronic mechanical devices with the aid of small power tools
• Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on Printed Wiring Board (PCB)
• Read job orders, production drawings, schematics and work instructions to perform assigned work
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets
• Connect components and parts using soldering and other bonding techniques
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies
• Perform online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards and requirements
• Use equipment such as depanelizers, hot air pencils, solder pots, BGA rework station, press fit, and X-Ray equipment to process products
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS :

Availability for overtime (evenings and weekends)
