DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

ITI Staffing Firm is currently looking for a Data Warehouse Project Management Consultant for a Twelve (12) months contract for one of our clients located in Fort McMurray

Daily tasks :

• Participate in the development and implementation of a centralized Data Warehouse and an integrated reporting tool, promoting streamlined reporting, improved data access, and enhanced decision-making capabilities.
• Lead the College’s Project team in the creation of a comprehensive Data Warehouse solution, allowing for cross platform compatibility and ensuring that the employer personnel are able to access data from a central point (Dashboard and data repository).
• Make sure that the solution is scalable, ensuring that it can accommodate future data growth and technological advancements.
• Ensure that the solution prioritize data security and compliance with relevant regulations, safeguarding sensitive information adhering to industry standards and legal requirements.
• Ensure that the employer staff receive robust training and documentation to ensure proficiency in utilizing the data warehouse.
• Meet the technological requirements and enhance compatibility through the use of Azure SQL as the underlying database technology and Power BI as the reporting tool for the data warehouse.
• Develop the project scope and budget and lead the employer project team in the creation of a comprehensive data warehouse and reporting tools.
• Develop a project charter and reporting structure.
• Determine milestones, deadlines, and deliverables and assign tasks to the project teams members as necessary and hold them accountable.
• Report to the project steering committee.

Qualifications :

• Demonstrate an understanding of the scope and purpose of the project, project requirements, and deliverables.
• Being able to identify all the phases of the project with clear explanations of steps required to achieve project deliverables.
• Demonstrate knowledge and keen comprehension of the challenge and risks associated with the project.
• Demonstrate how it will ensure the proposed methodology meets the requirements, including but not limited to their ability to use management tools and techniques to manage time, resources, teams and tasks to complete the project efficiently and meet the expectations of the employer.
• Being able to identify the resources and expectations of the employer to successfully design and build the solution.
• Being able to provide a project schedule in Gantt Chart Format and include all major activities separately identified with expected duration and related milestone dates, all major activities listed in the anticipated order of completion, and clear definition of all related interdependencies between tasks.
• Having delivered three (3) specifics projects for post secondary institutions which are considered relevant and comparable to this project in size and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing similar projects.
• Demonstrated experience working with post-secondary education institutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a diverse team of subject matter experts, technical, professional and administrative support.
• Familiarity with Power BI, PowerCampus, Great Plains, and Azure (Asset).
