Robert Half is hiring now for an experienced Help Desk Support to fulfill a Contract/Temporary role for our Calgary area Client. You will provide onsite technical support and maintenance for the Client’s IT infrastructure. We are searching for a candidate with top-notch technical knowledge and outstanding customer service skills to provide technical support including troubleshooting, installations, updates etc., as well as documenting all incidents in the ticketing system, and supporting the larger team with customer and project support. This role is located in the Calgary, AB. area.

Job Requirements:

MUST HAVES:

  • 2 + years of proven working experience in providing Tier I help desk support in fast paced working environment
  • Excellent PC/OS/Software troubleshooting skills
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills – open and honest communication ability to quickly understand and accurately interpret meaning, purpose and importance
  • Knowledge of security systems & access control knowledge
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving competencies, with the ability to devise creative, workable solutions within established policies
  • Must be highly organized with great attention to detail and providing quality results
  • An enquiring mind with the ability to think outside the box and search for answers
