Education

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Tasks

• Operate desktop publishing equipment and software to produce camera-ready copy
• Use computer software to assess customer files for completeness
• Mark copy with computer codes and typographic instructions before it is typeset
• Input copy into typesetting device or system
• Operate and tend typesetting output devices
• Operate media conversion equipment
• Load and process photosensitive material
• Perform routine maintenance
• Transfer computer data to hard copy format
