We are a fast growing e-commerce company, right now we are looking for a market sensitive Product Developer responsible to lead the company developing new products and improving existing products.
The responsibilities of a Product Developer include attending online product trade shows in our HQ; providing the up to date products reports include aging status with inventory level to marketing and sales teams; Managing reports to conduct the accurate understandable products problems to HQ when product issues happens, and discuss with HQ and provide solutions; improving buying desire by trimming and editing online product descriptions; well organized skills to handle duties assigned; collaborating with marketing, sales, supply chain, warehouse, customer service, and management teams to perform team work.
Expect the Product Developer candidate should be highly innovative, possess the ability to problem-solve and work well within a team, moreover, the Product Developer should have engineering and design knowledge, solid knowledge of the product design and technical mechanism, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Providing up-to-date product reports based on inventory levels, including aging product status, to support marketing and sales teams in developing promotional strategies.
- Attending online product trade shows organized by HQ, collaborating with HQ furniture factories on product selection, and identifying products that are well suited for the Canadian market; providing monthly reports on product selection outcomes and product development progress.
- Evaluating and recommending furniture products from HQ factories for the Canadian market, offering market-based selection insights and suggestions to support new product launches and assortment optimization.
- Managing and consolidating reports to clearly and accurately communicate product issues to HQ when problems arise, ensuring timely resolution and alignment.
- Analyzing sales cycles and performance patterns of existing products to inform the Supply Chain team and improve shipment planning and inventory allocation.
- Enhancing customer purchasing intent by refining, editing, and optimizing online product descriptions and content.
- Submitting product proposals, design feedback, and improvement recommendations for review by the project team and management before proceeding to the next development stage.
Requirements :
