What you will do :
Understand all lines assigned to purchase; building the best relationship with the vendors, and ensuring all daily commitments to the supply chains are met including, but not limited to, inventory replenishment and branch requestsReview items for replenishment from vendors and expediting vendor POsUnderstand and managing specific inventory and service-related KPI’s such as Inventory Investment and DOIForecast future demand using analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and AccessUnderstand the various types of DC programs (sole, primary, alternate) and using the tools to maximize the branch complianceWork with Vendor Costing to ensure costing is up to date with costs C quotesRepresent the company in a professional manner while ensuring quality customer serviceUnderstand impact of A / P to PO variances and works with Finance to resolve effectivelyHealth & Safety

A minimum of two (2) years related experience in purchasing / buyingCSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professional) Certification is an assetWorking knowledge of Syntax and WMS High Jump is an assetDistribution / Supply chain experience is an assetProficiency using a variety of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook C AccessWorking knowledge of purchasing, warehouse and inventory control policies, processes and proceduresAn ability to display a customer service attitude toward the branches and to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to meet the customer / branch expectationsThe ability to adapt to change and self-awarenessFluency in both French and English would be an asset.
