About Us :

Reconnect Community Health Services is a not-for-profit health service organization in the west end of Toronto. Our services include supports for seniors, caregivers, and people living with mental health and addictions concerns. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of client-centred care in our sector.

The Manager, Decision Support is responsible for managing the organization’s Performance Improvement and Decision Support department. The successful applicant is expected to demonstrate considerable skill, ability, and experience managing a team of decision support staff, preferably in health service environments. The role will represent the department and organization internally and externally and will be reporting to the Director of Programs and Performance Improvement at Reconnect

What You'll Do :

You will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including :

  • Managing the organization’s Performance Improvement team and accountable for the team’s deliverables
  • Ensuring projects and analyses are completed on time with high accuracy
  • Accountable for the oversight, design, and execution of complex data analyses and reporting initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs when translating them into analytical projects and program evaluations
  • Discovering, developing, and implementing analytical strategies that align with organizational goals and priorities
  • Accountable for the implementation of routine program evaluations for all programs and departments at the organization
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to data quality, collection, reporting, and infrastructure
  • Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
  • Manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team and in accordance with organizational policies

The successful candidate will possess :

  • A University Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Informatics, Health Evaluation, Statistics, Health Administration, Computer Science or similar; A Master’s Degree preferred;
  • Experience working with the community health sector an asset;
  • 3-5 years experience managing a team of program evaluators, analysts, or researchers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
  • Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management skills and experience with managing cross-functional projects
  • Special Requirements :

  • Criminal background check;
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, as required.
