Job description

Tucker Hockey - premier year round hockey school for 25+ years.

Providing power skating, hockey skills development,

individual / game tactics, conditioning, 1 on 1 coaching and many

other hockey services to players of all ages and skill levels.

Tucker Hockey is hiring an enthusiastic and passionate

“FULL – TIME” on ice instructor for year round hockey programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

5 - 10+ Years of Youth Hockey Skills Coaching / Instructing Experience.
NCCP Certified Coach
Power Skating Teaching Background
Played Junior, Collegiate or Above

PERSONAL TRAITS FOR GOOD FIT :

Passion, Love for The Game of Hockey & Having Fun On The Ice.

Excellent Professional Leadership, Communication and People Skills.

Strong Teaching Skills : Ability to Demo Skating & Hockey Skills to All Ages & Abilities.

Flexible Within Their Assigned-On Ice Role and Good Team Person.

Open to Continuous Learning, Willing to Understand, Learn & Be Mentored.

Eager to learn the “ TUCKER HOCKEY WAY ” - Coaching Philosophy & On Ice Curriculums.

Flexible Hours & Availability (Including Mostly Evenings & Some Daytime Sessions) –

Minimum 300+ On Ice Sessions Per First Year.

Leading Group Programs – Expanding To & Including 1 on 1 and M.H.A. Development Projects.

Personal Growth and Development Within Company’s Hockey Operations Department.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE :

Based on Loyalty - Experience - Skills - Passion - VALUE.

Employee Base Salary - First Year $50,000 - $60,000 Range.

Benefits Include : CPP, UIC, Health Care Coverage & Car Mileage Allowance.

Yearly Performance Bonuses, Calgary Flames Tickets and Travel to Europe Incentives.

Potential Compensation Package Growth - Including Additional Future Earnings From 1 on 1 Coaching and Minor Hockey Association Hockey Skills Development Projects.

Hockey Career Position – Future Business Ownership Opportunities.
