If so, our current offer may be for you! Located in Dorval, our client specialized in engineering projects is looking to hire a Controller.
In this role, you will be a proactive individual and the main support to the President and Accounting team. In this newly created position and reporting directly to the President / owner, you will : - Recommend and participate in the implementation of improvement measures, where necessary - Prepare and review the monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules- Set up and review internal controls - Develop KPIs, budget and forecast- Oversee the processes related to the divisional accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management - Provide meaningful analysis of both direct and indirect operational costs to Management - Provide a variety of ad-hoc financial reports, as requested- Advise support staff on general accounting and financial reporting systems, policies, procedures and requirements - Supervise the preparation of government filings, as required - Supervise year-end audit.
Be responsible to deal with third parties such as banks- Ensure a positive work environment and awareness by staff of company policies, procedures, goals and objectives Qualifications : - Accounting designation (CPA) and at least 10 years of experience in a similar role - Experience in manufacturing- Analytical mind, self-starter and ability to function with minimal supervision - Hands-on approach, autonomy, diplomacy, tenacity, rigor, and flexibility - Strong managerial skills regarding the support, training and motivation of support staff Please send your resume as a Word document to Milene Rizcalla at the following address : mrizcalla@quantum.
