Program Supervisor – Respite, Child & Youth, and Adult Programs

Key Responsibilities
- Program Management & Oversight : Oversee daily operations of the Respite, Child & Youth, and Adult Supported Living Programs; ensure programs run efficiently with high-quality client care and structured routines; support Team Leads in executing individualized service plans (ISPs) for clients; monitor program capacity, resource allocation, and occupancy levels; collaborate with the Operations Manager for program development and growth; ensure compliance with funding agreements and client needs with FSCD and PDD caseworkers; provide direct client support ensuring daily care, safety, and engagement; monitor client progress and care plans, making adjustments as required; coordinate with the Family & Practice Supervisor to align client goals with family expectations; ensure smooth communication between staff, clients, and external professionals; facilitate onboarding and orientation for new clients; may attend external meetings with funding bodies, social workers, and community partners to advocate for client needs.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with the Office Supervisor to ensure program documentation, scheduling, and compliance tracking; ensure staff access to HR systems, scheduling tools, and digital records; ensure comprehensive training and mandatory professional development for new staff; collaborate with the Family & Practice Supervisor to align service plans with family expectations and funding requirements.Directly supervise Team Leads across all programs; oversee staffing levels, schedules, and 24 / 7 coverage; ensure ongoing staff training and compliance with mandatory training; conduct team meetings, check-ins, and performance evaluations; support Team Leads in addressing staff concerns and conflict resolution.Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all programs meet CARF accreditation and provincial disability service regulations; support proper documentation procedures, incident reporting, and risk management; conduct internal audits and quality assurance reviews; stay updated on industry best practices and provincial regulations.Crisis & Budget Management
Serve as the primary on-call contact for escalations and crisis situations; implement de-escalation techniques and emergency response protocols; ensure proper documentation and review of incident reports and crisis interventions; monitor program budgets to ensure cost-effective operations; approve staffing expenses and program resources within budget guidelines; identify funding opportunities and program enhancements to improve services.Qualifications & Skills
Education : Diploma or degree in social work, disability studies, psychology, or related field (required).Experience : Minimum 3 years in program supervision, disability services, or a leadership role in client care.Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of CARF accreditation standards, FSCD, and PDD funding requirements.First Aid / CPR (required or willing to obtain).Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering staff training programs.Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (preferred).Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to transport clients (preferred).Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; ability to oversee multiple programs and teams while ensuring compliance; calm under pressure with strong crisis intervention and problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
