Responsibilities :
- Ensure all quotations and orders are prepared and submitted as per schedule commitments.
- Once purchase orders are received, you will prepare all purchase orders for the equipment and provide drawings for the shop fabrication and assembly of the pump and motor base.
- Prepare final document package once complete.
- Execute a full technical review and select appropriate pumping equipment to meet client specifications provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ).
- Prepare comprehensive quotations for submission.
- Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements.
Requirements :
Preferred qualifications include post-secondary education in a technical mechanical discipline, a CET designation, or a combination of relevant education and experience in the mechanical industry, specifically with a focus on rotating equipment.
Ideal Studies : Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma or Instrumentation Engineering Technology)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in written communication for effective correspondence with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft office 365 and experience in dealing with ERP systems (for example SAP NetSuite Oracle, among others)
