Yama Vans is hiring an experienced Mechanical Designer / Engineering Technologist who thrives on precision, structure, documentation, and manufacturing discipline .

This is not a creative design or conceptual engineering role, but functions as the backbone of our engineering operations, with ownership of CAD → BOM → ERP → Production process.

If you love accurate drawings, solid CAD models, clean BOMs, and organized data, you’ll excel here.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed and accurate CAD models, drawings, BOMs in Solidworks
• Create, update, organize BOMs in line with ERP requirements
• Create production and fabrication ready drawings
• Generate CNC files (3 axis), sheet material nesting , and 2D drawings
• Maintain CAD, drawing, and BOM standards
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production to ensure data accuracy

Requirements

Extremely detail oriented and disciplined in following standards

This role is documentation focused, not a creative design role, and is perfect for someone who loves details, organization, and discipline.
