Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will join our fun-loving team of engineering and architecture professionals at 1133 Regent Street in Fredericton, who play a leading role in some of the region’s largest infrastructure projects as well as collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions! You may also choose to take advantage of EXP’s flexible and hybrid work model.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Develop and supervise a team which handles the design of water-wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects associated with :
  • Design wastewater and water treatment plants, vertical infrastructure, including pump stations and related works.
  • Maintain client communications; prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality control.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, specifications and drawings, etc.
  • Assist in business development activities including client management and proposal development.
  • Develop and implement internal training, standard practices and QA / QC methodologies.
  • Make a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment.

What your experience looks like

  • 5-10 years of experience in the process design of vertical water / wastewater infrastructure is required.
  • Register with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick as a P. Eng.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills and ability to prioritize multiple project timelines.
  • Experience in water / wastewater specific process design.
