Our client is a recognized, global Bank, located in Montreal, QC - and is looking to bring on a seasoned Application Support Resource on board, to specifically focus on USD payments and settlement systems.
Primary Role : Provide technical and functional support for the Montran JGPS application, used to process USD payments and settlements. The role includes managing real-time interfaces (SWIFT, FEDWIRE, CHIPS), downstream systems (Treasury, AML, Sanctions), and overseeing start-of-day, close-of-day, and batch processing.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor and maintain the Montran JGPS application and its interfaces, ensuring smooth operation for USD payment and settlement processing.
Act as the primary point of contact for projects, gathering requirements, defining solutions, and managing deliverables.
Propose and implement enhancements to simplify and optimize information systems.
