The mission of the Data & Analytics Department is to maximize the value of Data by providing actionable insights that drive our business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is experiencing exponential growth, and the Data & Analytics team is growing with it . As a member of the Data & Analytics Department supporting the eCommerce division, you will be part of the team that bridges the gap between business strategy and data.

You will combine your deep understanding of Performance Marketing and Data & Analytics, with excellent leadership and communication skills to lead out on the delivery of actionable descriptive, predictive and prescriptive insights.

You will support the process and technology transformation of the Digital division that will enable Aritzia to deliver world class everyday luxury customer experiences.

THE JOB

As the Lead Data Analyst, you will :

  • Lead out on the build of the Advanced Analytics capability in support of Aritzia's Digital division, with a specific focus on supporting Digital Paid Media and Performance Marketing
  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to drive data-informed decisions in support of corporate objectives
  • Tackle Advanced Analytics use cases related to areas such as incrementality testing, customer lifetime value, attribution modeling and causal impact
  • Develop insights to support these use cases including :
  • Descriptive insights to understand what has happened and why. Creating new metrics, measurement plans and A / B experiments to track the success and opportunities of key initiatives.

Performing trend analysis, pattern discovery and statistical analysis.

  • Predictive insights to understand what is likely to happen and when. Using advanced analytics techniques such as scenario analysis, rule-based modeling, and AI / Machine Learning
  • Prescriptive insights to recommend what is most optimal to do to influence events. Taking into account all possible factors in a scenario and suggesting actionable takeaways to human and system decision makers
  • Maximize the value of insights through effective storytelling, influence stakeholders to take action and measure the impact of these actions
  • Provide technical leadership to elevate the analytics acumen amongst the team and stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

The Lead Data Analyst has :

  • Proven and best-in-class skills, education and / or applicable certifications in :
  • Interpreting and analyzing data using advanced statistical techniques and leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, Python / R, BigQuery / BigQuery ML, and Google Co-Lab (Notebooks)
  • Background in Paid Media, Performance Marketing, and / or eCommerce is preferred
  • Designing and conducting geo-experiments to measure the impact of online advertising. This includes knowledge of matched market tests, holdout groups, and incrementality measurement techniques
  • Providing technical leadership to other Data Analysts with mentorship, training documentation and peer review
  • A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of operational efficiency, continuous growth, and shared business outcomes
  • The ability to set clear objectives and champion data-informed decisions within eCommerce and Performance Marketing teams

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $120,000 - 170,000 CAD year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
