About the Role :
The Vice President, Investments and Head of our Montreal office will be responsible for the regional management of Fitzrovia’s investment strategy and related business activities, ensuring efficient operations and execution of the Company’s overall strategy in the Montreal region. This role will work closely with other senior members of the company and actively participate in and contribute to all facets of the business including new acquisitions, development, construction and property and asset management. As Fitzrovia continues to expand into new business verticals and geographies, this role will play a crucial role in evaluating these new strategies and contributing to the general growth of the firm.

As we are a highly collaborative team, this role is on-site full-time, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities :
Investments Leadership
- Work alongside the CEO, EVP – Investments, EVP – Operations and other senior management team members to oversee the general strategy, formation, build-out and execution of the Company’s business verticals including leading acquisitions, closings, and business plan execution
- Engage with third party brokers and landowners to secure a pipeline of transaction opportunities for the Company across its business verticals
- Assess potential investments through the review of detailed financial models and market research
- Complete and oversee data-driven analysis to assist in major decision-making including asset business plans, financings, rezoning, design development, construction tendering and lease-up strategy
- Oversee the creation of investment committee memorandums and due diligence materials for new acquisitions
- Lead the closing process including review of due diligence materials and coordination with internal resources and third-party consultants and stakeholders
- Assist with securing land, bridge, construction and permanent financing including the preparation of lender packages, valuations, budgets and due diligence materials
- Work alongside the asset management team to formulate asset business plans for income producing assets on a quarterly and annual basis
- Oversee asset management and property management teams for Montreal properties to ensure successful execution of such asset business capital plans
- Work closely with development, construction, asset and property management and accounting to ensure all team members are working together and towards common goals
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices across all business verticals
- Assist in the research and evaluation of new business strategies and verticals
- Represent the Company on industry panels and at industry networking events
- Provide sound business judgement and recommendations on a variety of unstructured tasks.
Team Leadership

Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, finance or a similar field10+ years of experience in finance, including principal investing at a private equity company or real estate firm.
