Our Expectations :
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor - Internship and Campus, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization by identifying current and future top talent from schools accross Canada.
Thos position is ideal for someone who is willing to step out of their comfort zone, act as a strong brand ambassador, and challenge the status quo to develop innovative processes.
You will be responsible for implementing effective strategies to optimize our internship, our students and new graduate recruitment programs at RONA.
Your Role :
- Coordinate our intern program with various stakeholders
- Develop and implement proactive talent attraction strategies, challenging conventional methods
- Manage the full cycle student selection process from initial candidate contact to offer
- Build and foster strong relationships with our internal business partners across the organization to understand their needs and ensure alignment on all recruitment efforts
- Provide a top tier candidate experience from first contact, through onboarding to a series of internal engagement activities throughout the semester
- Actively plan and execute internal and external campus activities and events
- Deliver compelling presentations and facilitate engaging workshops to promote our opportunities and brand
- Strengthen and develop partnerships with schools and student associations across Canada
- Represent and promote RONA at campus events and career fairs, which may require willingness to travel to events
The qualifications we are looking for :
- University degree in Human Resources, or another relevant field or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
- Proven experience in Campus Recruitment or a related industry
- Experience with Workday as a ATS and HRIS systems would be an asset
- Bilingualism in English and French is required. Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country
- Solution oriented and bring creative ideas to the table
- Ability to advise, influence, and build business relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, changing environment
- Team player working collaboratively with key stakeholders
