Supply Chain Manager

HAYS Manufacturing Recruitment is looking for a Supply Chain Manager.The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world-class service.

Map and implement continuous improvement strategies for the E2E supply chain process.

Oversee all purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet responsibilities

Evaluate vendor performance to ensure the lowest cost, highest quality, and timely deliveries.

Lead the operation and procurement team, and guide them to implement best practices.

Oversee market difficulties and create contingent plans to make sure the manufacturing process is not affected by it.

The ideal candidate would bring :

Work Mode Onsite Monday Friday 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pmTravel One visit per year

Hard Skills 5 years of previous Supply Chain management experience, strongly preferred in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Cannabis or Food / Beverage industriesPrior management or coaching experience.

The ideal candidate would be an effective people leader.

Strongputer skills, especially using software like Excel and SAP Hana.

Knowledge of principles of production planning, inventory management, sourcing, logistics and forecasting (APICS subject areas)

Soft Skills Thorough understanding of production capacity / capabilities, inventory theory and cost trade-offs in managing the Supply Chain

Well-developed interpersonal andmunication skills, team-building skills, influencing & negotiation skills. Able to lead cross-functional teams during times of adversity (e.

g. break-down in supply and demand resulting in crisis management)

Critical thinker & self-starter with excellent time management skills

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to analyze ambiguous data, determine key information elements, develop optimal plans and rmend & execute action plans that weigh risks and benefits.
