MatchBox Consulting are currently seeking a dedicated Junior Project Coordinator for a 6-month contract with one of BC’s largest energy and utilities companies.
As a Junior Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing marketing, financial and administrative support to energy management programs.
Estimated contract duration : 6 months
Location : Downtown Vancouver (1 day in office / 4 days from home)
Experience and Role Accountabilities
- Coordinate and process applications for energy management programs.
- Resolve problem applications and ensure program operations align with other energy management initiatives and defined guidelines.
- Follow up to ensure program users comply with established policies and procedures.
- Identify problem areas and recommend policy, procedural, and other changes.
- Implement approved recommendations to enhance program effectiveness.
- Review and approve applications submitted for energy management programs.
- Oversee the preparation of quotes, proposals, and coordinate post-sales delivery of products and services.
Education and Skills
- A minimum two (2) years of directly related work experience or equivalent.
- College level program completion in Business, Economics, Communication or related discipline
- Good working knowledge of project management principles
- Intermediate skills in computer applications such as SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Customer service experience
- Operational high-volume experience, ability to meet deadlines
- SAP experience considered an asset
