Chief Financial Officer
On behalf of our client, the Northrup Group, a diverse group of companies, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Saint John.
Reporting to the President / Owner, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will manage the overall financial, HR, and IT operations for the group of companies.
By providing leadership and strategic direction to the organization, you will ensure the company’s financial objectives are met.
With full financial management responsibility, you will assist with significant projects from a financial and resource position, which includes budgeting and management of other financial aspects.
Over time, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to assume greater operational responsibility. As a business leader, you will build solid relationships with key decision-makers to communicate the company’s capabilities.
As a people leader, you will motivate and mentor to play a key role in the professional development of the team.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a CPA designation, along with demonstrated progressive senior-level experience. We are seeking a passionate, driven individual who can cultivate relationships internally and externally while creating buy-in and credibility.
You will bring a strong financial background and business acumen which allows you to understand the technical and financial aspects of the business.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial motivated, hands-on, professional with a strong desire to contribute to significant projects.
A proven leader, you have a successful track record of building and empowering teams.
