Technical Sales Representative (ON-SITE)

Thunder Bay, ON P7E 6E9

Fulltime, Permanent

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

  • Increase sales and CB’s total market share.
  • Understand and prospect Enterprise Solutions, in conjunction with the Business Development Manager and / or Regional Sales Manager, provide a tangible value proposition to customers to reduce their total cost of ownership.
  • Actively follow CB’s established sales strategy.
  • Input daily activities into CRM for accurate planning and forecasting of sales opportunities.
  • Actively engage, interact, and cooperate with customers to build and maintain strong positive relationships (i.e., phone calls, site visits, e-mail follow-ups, etc.).
  • Proactively discover, understand, and investigate customer needs, and effectively solve problems by engaging in root cause analysis; work with internal / external resources to communicate and provide suitable resolutions.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to ensure knowledge specialization and / or currency in new products, technology, technical solutions, and industry / market knowledge and trends.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external sales teams regularly to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • The TSR will be responsible for customers based in the Northern Ontario region and will be required to travel to the branches located in North Bay, Thunder Bay, Hearst and Sault Ste. Marie.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR TEAM :

  • Post-secondary education; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in B2B sales, with strong knowledge of the MRO industry and / or Supply Chain preferred.
