Job Summary

TheCredit Risk Analyst is responsible for making sound creditdecisions within required turnaround times investigating anddecisioning credit requests using all available credit resourceswithin the realm of Equipment Leasing & Financing.

Requiredcompetencies include strong analytical communication negotiationand creative thinking skills with a thorough understanding ofautomated credit scoring and risk rating analytics.

Team playerregularly collaborating with other Risk Analysts and inside andoutside sales representatives. Regularly communicates withoriginations documentation and collections / portfolio managementdepartments to resolve risk management issues within appropriateguidelines.

Supports automated credit scoring model maintenance andupgrades as needed by facilitating credit scoring enhancements incollaboration with the IT department.

Thisposition is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiringyou to be in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays with an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unlessa specific business need arises requiring in office attendance onother days).

Note that work schedules and office reportingrequirements may change from time to time based on businessneeds.

Responsibilities :

• Reviews and analyzes credit scoring metrics and riskratings and quickly identifies material credit strengths andweaknesses to provide timely credit decisions.
• Collaborates as needed with IT department to maintainautomated credit scoring model and facilitate upgrades tocommercial and / or consumer credit scoring functionality.
• Supports credit decisions with scoring model andsupplementary data from commercial and personal credit reportingagencies and various web resources including but not limited toD&B Experian Moodys S&P Fitch A.

M. Best NAIC and SEC andFDIC filings.

• Accurately spreads and analyzesfinancial statements and incorporates relevant financial metricsinto credit reviews
• Reviews and decisionstransactions within assigned authority including recommendationsfrom junior Analysts and makes recommendations on transactions inexcess of assigned authority.
• Monitors creditlines and completes credit line renewals in a timely fashion.
• Structures and appropriately documents creditapprovals consistent with risk management guidelines.
• Reviews and approves changes to contract terms andconditions within assigned authority.
• Advisessales team on pended applications and facilitates the process ofobtaining credit and financial information to decision pendedtransactions.
• Regularly updates systemcomments to keep all parties informed of the status of all creditapplications.
• Ensures that dealer and customerconcerns are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner withoutundermining risk management standards.
• Develops and maintains effective working relationshipswith inside and outside sales teams and end usercustomers.
• Negotiates complex credits toobtain favorable lease structures that win business withoutcompromising credit standards.
• Seeks guidanceas appropriate from supervisors and managers.
• Provides coverage support for assigned regions and otherregions as required.
• Serves as mentor to lessexperienced or junior members of the credit team.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field orequivalent experience required
• 3 to 5 years ofrelated experience.
• Background in EquipmentLeasing & Financing
• Handson experiencewith Risk Analysis software & tools (D&B etc)
