Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting, streaming, or social media.
• Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Incorporate graphics, music, voiceovers, and special effects to enhance video quality and storytelling.
• Ensure all video content meets brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Review and revise edits based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and video editing software advancements to continuously improve output.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across projects.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote workspace.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating strong editing skills and creative storytelling.
• Experience working with remote teams and project management tools is a plus.
