Job Description : Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He / She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
  • Unload packages from air containers and load packages into trailers or package cars.
  • Sort and scan packages into bags

Qualifications :

  • Good Organizational and Multi-tasking skills
  • Able to follow set and standard procedures
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to regularly lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted
  • Able to maneuver packages up to 150-lbs (68-kg) assisted
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically-demanding warehouse environment
  • Comfortable working inside confined spaces in vehicles
  • Ability to read and memorize postal codes
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass an enhanced background / criminal check
  • Shift is Monday-Friday with flexibility to start from 4pm to 6pm.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
