About The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our Book of Business Team in the Vegreville, AB branch on a Permanent Full Time basis.

What You'll Do Here

• Helping customers find insurance solutions that meet their needs
• Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by offering advice to help them make informed decisions
• Creating a trusting environment that fosters sales and customer retention
• Writing new business policies with an emphasis on quality and efficiency
• Testing new sale strategies, techniques and processes while providing feedback
• Actively engaging in training and professional development

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Post‑Secondary Education or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Level 2 AIC completed
• High degree of professionalism, diplomacy and integrity
• Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to coach/mentor
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure and deadlines
• Able to work both individually and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; multi‑tasking
