MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Senior Building Operator in Saskatoon, SK. Our client is a prominent real estate company with a diverse portfolio of properties across North America.
They specialize in developing and managing master-planned communities and income properties.
They are seeking a Senior Building Operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and has a strong commitment to providing top-tier service.
This opportunity allows you to oversee building operations, work closely with a collaborative team, and ensure the smooth performance of key building systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems to ensure smooth operation of building facilities.
- Complete tenant service calls, including changing lights and resolving heating / cooling issues, with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Monitor and manage the property’s appearance and safety, ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Operate and oversee Building Automation and Security systems, troubleshooting technical issues and recommending solutions.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with building guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and Operator Class 4 Certificate.
- 5+ years of experience in building operations, ideally within a commercial, office, or retail environment.
- Familiarity with safety and fire codes, as well as WHMIS procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and computer skills for managing logs, reporting, and coordinating with property management.
