Brake Press Operator

Quest-Tech Inc, located in Belleville operates out of a large modern 80,000 square foot facility, we provide a complete range of fabrication and finishing services including shearing, laser cutting, punching, forming, welding, painting (wet / powder), silk screening, assembly, and custom packaging.

We are currently seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team.As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the Brake Press machine to bend, form and fabricate metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Duties :

• Operate Amada CNC Brake Press and other machinery used in the production process or assist other machine operators.
• Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type.
• Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
• Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use.
• Consistently produce usable products that meet dimensional specifications of engineered drawings.
• Read work orders and tag product as required.
• Lift materials, final products and items packed for shipment, manually up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Keep all work areas clean and organized.
• Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
