Meadow Park Chatham 110 Sandy's Street, Chatham, Ontario Join our team as the CO Director of Resident Care (RN)!Under the direction of the Administrator, the Co-Director of Resident Care (RN) is responsible and accountable for ensuring the provision of optimum care to promote the well-being of each individual resident. Ensures and provides the delivery of nursing services to meet the assessed needs of the residents. Manages and coordinates Home-wide programs.The following traits and qualifications are required : Must be Registered with current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario - O. Reg. 246 / 22, s. 51Successful completion of or enrollment in Long Term Care Senior Management or equivalent2 years experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) preferredMust demonstrate an active interest in ongoing educationMust be computer literateResponsibilities include : Assesses, implements, evaluates, reports, and documents actions to affect positive outcomes related to the residents’ healthEnsures nursing staff perform assigned tasks and dutiesResponsible and accountable for the coordination, implementation, and overall management of Home-wide programs such as, but not limited to : Skin care, Behaviour Management, Infection Control, Back Care, CQI / Risk Management, Palliative Care, Quality of Life, Health and SafetyEnsures the accurate completion of resident’s records reflecting the resident health status and care provided complying with legislative and Home requirements.Participates in the orientation process for residents, students, volunteers, and nursing personnelOur offer to you may also include : Health, Welfare and Dental BenefitsPension program where we match contributions and invest in your futureReferral bonusAssistance with tuitionSkill development and internal advancement = growth in your careerAwards and recognition programs and team appreciation eventsExclusive discounts on products, services, and travelPlease note, all applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
